Danish industrial output falls in Dec
COPENHAGEN: Denmark's seasonally-adjusted industrial production fell 1.1 percent in December from November, official data showed on Monday.
The November reading was adjusted to a fall of 1.4 percent from a figure of minus 0.6 percent reported a month ago.
Industrial output grew 7.3 percent in December year-on-year, Statistics Denmark said.
"There was a fall in production from November to December in the capital goods industry and in the intermediary products industry by 4.2 percent and 1.9 percent," Statistics Denmark said in a statement.
"Although production has fallen over the past three months, the output level is still higher than in December 2009," it said. "In non-seasonally adjusted figures, production in December 2010 was 7.3 percent higher than in December 2009, but 13.7 percent lower than two years ago."
