Despite all the political tensions between the two neighboring countries, Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali will soon fly down to India for their upcoming Bollywood movie Mom.
According to an Indian media report, as the film starred two Pakistani actors Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui, it was reported that the shoot of the film started in March last year. It was nearing completion with just the climax and a song left to be shot when tensions between India and Pakistan following the Uri attacks flared up, leading to a call of ban on Pakistani artistes. Now, the films team is finally ready to resume shooting after Pakistani actors were granted visas to shoot in India after several attempts.
The movie which also stars Sridevi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshay Khanna, is mother-daughter drama. Pakistani actress Sajal Ali will be seen playing Sridevis daughter while actor Adnan Siddiqui will play her husband.
In September, following the Uri attacks and the surgical strikes, Sajal and Adnans visas were rejected several times. Now they have obtained a visa for a month and will be flying to Delhi to shoot the final scenes and a song in February, Mumbai Mirror reported.
