A police complaint has been lodged against the ‘One Night Stand’ actress, Sunny Leone over singing ‘incorrect’ national anthem of India during a pro Kabaddi match in Mumbai on Thursday night.
Leone was nervous to sing the national anthem at the Kabaddi League match aired on Star Sports channel.
The complaint was lodged by a film maker named Ullhas PR who had also filed a complaint against Amitabh Bachchan a few months back (March 19 to be precise) accusing him of taking more time than mandated, whilst singing the national anthem during the high voltage Twenty 20 World Cup 2016 clash between Pakistan and India.
The complaint has been lodged at New Ashok Nagar Police Station in New Delhi on the grounds that sunny should have practiced the anthem before singing it at the public event, according to various Indian news websites.
It may be mentioned that Leone earlier this month had tweeted: “In order to get all the words correct and pronunciation correct I had to hear what I'm singing. Been practicing on my own all month.”
