Ayan Mukherjee’s forthcoming film which is provisionally titled as ‘Dragon’, despite strong rumors that it has been shelved, has now been confirmed that the film is happening soon. The film has been in talks since the official announcement and has been touted as a superhero flick.
Interestingly, Bollywood’s unusual couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen in this Ayan Mukherjee’s upcoming film. With superhero movies doing fantastic business all around the world, Ayan Mukerji is attempting to make a trilogy with Ranbir Kapoor.
As per the latest buzz, Ayan and Ranbir, who are close buddies, had several meetings for finalizing the details of the film. Alia Bhatt has also joined Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherji, who recently got together to discuss their next project in London. And together, the trios have started prepping for their superhero flick. Although rumor also suggest that Amitabh Bachchan has also been roped in for a prominent role in the film.
Buzz is that they are doing something they haven't done before pushing the envelope on the action front. In an interview, Ayan Mukherjee told IndianExpress, "It’s an adventure fantasy or a modern day fairytale. It’s a film that is set in contemporary India but there is a hint of some ancient Indian magic."
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will also be seen in Gauri Shinde’s ‘Dear Zindagi’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Dharma Productions’ ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ opposite Varun Dhawan. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in two movies ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
