imageBollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan has faced since his comment last year comes from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) which is protesting the ongoing shooting of his upcoming movie ‘Raees’ in Gujarat.

According to DNA India report, Vishwa Hindu Parishad has raised an objection against SRK’s ‘Raees’ and have demanded the District Collector to cancel the permit for the shoot of the film in Gujarat. They’ve said that if their demands aren’t met, they will disrupt the shooting.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently in Gujarat for the shooting of ‘Raees’, but members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) have reportedly opposed the film's shoot. Several members of the VHP took to the streets and burnt SRK's posters, demanding cancellation of the film's shoot, DNA India reported.

In December last year, workers of right wing organizations had staged protest against Khan in Gujarat, Rajasthan states and called for a boycott of his film ‘Dilwale’ on the same issue. Shah Rukh Khan had entered the ongoing debate on intolerance on November 2 last year by expressing that there was “extreme intolerance” in the country.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the crime-drama, 'Raees' is slated to release on Eid this year.
