Katie Holmes pushes ahead with her fashion career

KARACHI: Keeping aside her recent high-profile split from Superstar husband Tom Cruise, newly-separated Katie Holmes is gearing up to hold her first ever fashion show.
She is making her New York Fashion Week debut this September. This is the first time she is presenting her collection in any fashion event.
According to Womens Wear Daily, “The actress and fashion designer will present creations from her label ‘Holmes and Yang’ that she formed with her longtime friend and stylist Jeanne Yang.”
The range launched in 2009, is stocked at New York department stores Barneys New York and Harvey Nichols in London, among other luxury outlets.
The collection will show the Holmes & Yang Spring 2013 line in its first ever appearance at the prestigious fashion event.
