KARACHI: American Actress Jennifer Lopez, along with Pitbull, Juanes, Romeo Santos and Wisin and Yandel has been elected for Tr3s’ Latino Artist of the year.
Tr3s’ cable network is giving an opportunity to the fans of listed celebrities to vote for their desired artists at vma.tr3s.com till September 5.
According to media sources, contest will take place in this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The victor of the contest will be announced during a Spanish broadcast of forthcoming MTV Video Music Awards show on September 15 on Tr3s.
Speaking to media Juanes said, "I'm honoured to be nominated by Tr3s and to be sharing this recognition with such great artists."
Video Music Awards are renowned for featuring numerous celebrities of music industry namely: Pink, One Direction and Alicia Keys.
The music show will be anchored by a comedian Actor Kevin Hart live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m.
