Bollywood Punjabi singer Labh Janjua of ‘London Thumakda’ fame was found dead at his Mumbai residence on Thursday morning. Various Bollywood celebrities mourned death of talented Indian singer.
Police has registered a case of accidental death and sent the body for post mortem. Labh Janjua was found lying on his bed motionless; his maid called up the police and neighbours as he was not responding to the calling bell. The police opened the door with a duplicate key and the Punjabi singer was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival, Indian media reported.
Other singers like Ayushmaan Khurrana, Salim Merchant, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan and Pritam took to Twitter to express their grief.
Janjua has given hit songs like London Thumakda (Queen), Jee Karda (Singh is King), Baari Barsi (Band Baaja Baraat), Dance pe Chance (Rab ne Bana Di Jodi), Mauja Hi Mauja (Jab We Met) and Soni De Nakhre (Partner).
Janjua is suspected to have died of a heart attack, while he was alone at his home. However, the exact reason of his death is yet to be known.
