Mahesh Babu could have easily made a big splash in Bollywood Industry, with the remake as his debut. But, he himself has refused to play the same role in the remake.
Mahesh Babu is an Indian film actor and producer known for his work mainly in Telugu cinema. He owns the production house G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Mahesh Babu faced the camera at the age of four as a child artist in 1979's Needa. His first leading role was in the film Rajakumarudu, which was released in August 1999.
Before going for recommendations let’s swank a hasty brief about ‘Srimanthudu’. This movie is about a rich guy who believes in doing what his heart says. He values people and relationships and doesn’t care about his status. Though he has everything in life at his foot step, there is something else he wishes to achieve. He comes to know about a village… Rest of the story is all about what he does after adopting village and about his personal connection to it.
So here are some recommendations, according to Bollywoodlife:
Of course Salman Khan has to be there on the top of the list. Who else can give guarantee to hit your film in 200 crore mark other than Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Dabang Khan has already done his share of south remakes like Bodyguard, Wanted, Ready, Kick.
Like Mahesh Babu, he has a charming personality with a great smile and is also a great dancer. Besides, he has been impressing us with each of his release since his debut in Student Of The Year.
The only reason this choice may sound unconventional, Hritik has not done any South remakes! He does a superhero film like Krrish, which he follows up with a remake of a Hollywood actioner i.e. Bang Bang and then doing a historical set in Mohenjo Daro. So why can’t we see him in a Southern film? He has the looks to of a rich concerned humanitarian, so he can rock the role.
