Singer Katy Perry wrote number of love letters to a boy called Christopher when she was 11. The love letters she wrote back in 1995 are now up for auction.
Reportedly, the letters are expected to sell for more than US $800 when they are sold by Juliens Auctions next month.
According to foreign media reports, one of the notes begins, “Dear Christopher, I got your address from a special person, your mom! I didn’t know it, but your mom was sitting right in front of me on the couch and I said I liked you and I didn’t know that it was your mum! I was so embarrassed your mom told me to write you and I did”. While another ends with “PS I like you a lot! Write back asap. Love Katy Hudson”.
The letter is addressed to Christopher Villar. Katy Perry and Christopher Villar became friends at camp and continued to see one another at various evangelical events and rallies that both of their families attended. Perry seems to be attracted to the school-going boy that time that she wrote several love letters to him.
Katy Perry also got married to Russel Brand but their marriage only lasts for 14 months. She quoted her divorce as ‘traumatic’ that time, but she moved on quite easily from that ‘trauma’ very soon.
