Singer Lorde has been named as the ‘World’s hottest artist’ under 21 by the leading magazine. She is known by her stage name Lorde, a New Zealand singer-songwriter.
Source revealed that the singer has topped the American list in an annual ranking of music most powerful minors. Previously, she has won a Grammy for ‘Song of the year’ and played at several US festivals including ‘Coachella’ and ‘Lollapalooza’. Lorde has used her debut single as a springboard to unequivocal superstardom.
According to media reports, Sydney band ‘5 Seconds of summer’ came in just behind Lorde at number two, Justin Bieber at number three, Martin Garrix at number four and Fifth Harmony well placed at number five.
“The 21 artists have already accomplished so much and have a ton of potential. For now they're just kids, but they're the kids that everyone in music is watching,” media reported.
