Nick Cannon the actor, DJ, singer and host of ‘America’s Got Talent’ will be releasing a book of children’s poems. The entertainer and record producer is working on a book of poems for children.
Cannon's ‘Neon Aliens Ate My Homework’ and Other Poems will be published in March 2015. According to the publisher, ‘Neon Aliens’ will feature black and white illustrations from several street artists and will reflect Cannon's desire to combine poetry and hip-hop. Cannon said in a statement issued through Scholastic that he has been writing poems and stories since he was 8, media reported
According to media reports he said, “When I was eight years old, I got a spiral notebook and wrote my first poem/rap. I filled that notebook with poems, rhymes, jokes, and witty stories. I still keep one to this day. I hope that poems in ‘Neon Aliens’ will help inspire kids to want to get out a pen and paper to write or draw their own thoughts, rhymes, and stories”.
