KARACHI: Karen Faye, Michael Jackson’s makeup artist who worked with him for more than 27 years has reportedly testified that she overheard an executive from AEG Live insist the singer rehearse in spite of his declining health.
According to American media sources Faye provided information about a phone conversation she overheard between AEG Executive Paul Gongaware, and Jackson’s assistant about getting him to rehearsals. Concerned for Jackson, Faye was allegedly of the opinion the singer might die if he was forced to rehearse for his “This Is It” tour in his deteriorating condition.
Several news outlets state Faye testified the people who were most persistent Jackson rehearse included his tour Director Kenny Ortega and Gongaware. It is expected AEG Live co-CEO Randy Phillips, Kenny Ortega and Paul Gongaware are due to testify later in the trial.
