KARACHI: Farah Khan debut performance in her recent release “Shirin Farhad ki to Nikal Padi” is an adorable romantic comedy, Boman Irani along with Farah Khan definitely make a cute couple together.
The movie is same as other love stories but the chemistry between the two unusual actors make the audience hooked to the screens.
The story is of a 45 year old Parsi boy, Farhad (Boman Irani), who is single and very keen to mingle. Society and family pressure make Farhad visit several prospective brides’ homes only to be rejected from every family because of his profession as he is a salesman in lingerie shop.
Farhad falls in love with the confident, outspoken and quirky 40-year-old Shirin, and it is true love for the two. But Farhad, who is a mumma’s boy, has to first convince his mother, who considers Shirin as her arch enemy.
Boman Irani shy nature and Farah Khan outspoken and bubbly nature in the movie will make you laugh throughout; the nice romantic scenes of the couple make you feel happy and warm from inside.
The best part of the movie is it is different from other romantic movies with sweet romantic songs; the movie doesn’t have unnecessary songs wasting so much of time.
The movie got mixed response from the audience and the film critics.
