Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri while shooting for a song sequence for ‘Azhar’ suddenly collapsed causing a loss of Rs 35-40 lacs.
Whilst shooting for the song sequence, a remake of the 90s chartbuster ‘Oye Oye’ (from the film Tridev starring Sangeeta Bijlani), the actress suddenly collapsed. A doctor was called immediately on the sets, the actress was diagnosed with high fever. It is also being said that the producers suffered a loss of Rs. 35-40 lacs owing to the setback, Bollywood Hungama reported.
Reportedly, the actress is still too weak to resume shooting for Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Azhar’.
‘Azhar’ is a film based on real-life of Indian cricketer Azharuddin. The movie features Emraan Hashmi essaying the role Azharuddin, while Nargis Fakhri plays the role of Sangeeta Bijlani (Azharuddin second wife). The movie also starred Prachi Desai and Lara Dutta in the lead roles.
It will hit theatres on May 13.
