Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has impressed audience worldwide after appearing in American TV series ‘Quantico’. After the premiere of the pilot episode of ‘Quantico’, the US media took to Twitter to express how much they were impressed by the show.
The 33-year-old Bollywood actress stars on the new ABC series and the show debuted on Sunday night to solid ratings, according to Deadline. The series brought in a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49, which means that 1.9% of all television equipped households within that demographic were tuned in during the time slot. 7 million viewers watched the premiere overall.
According to foreign media reports, Chopra said the role has been extremely demanding. “It was very physical,” she says. “I was in the middle of doing an Indian movie in which I play an Indian police officer and I was in training for that and Quantico simultaneously, so that really helped”.
“I’m training with the rest of the cast you have to be extremely physically fit. We have to obviously look like FBI agents. So the training has been a big part of doing the show. And while we shoot 15-hour days, which I had no idea we had to do, we're also trying to train whenever we can,” she added.
Chopra, who makes good on her goal to make her Alex Parrish role sharp, intense, infinitely watchable, and the main reason ‘Quantico’ may also become one of your new faves. Alex has always dreamt to join the FBI, but later she finds herself in huge trouble when she is painted as a co-conspirator of one of the biggest terrorist attacks on the States.
The show will go on-air from October 3 on Star World and Star World Premiere.
