The launch event of much awaited reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss Season 9’ took place last night. Salman Khan has returned back to host the high voltage reality show. He has yet again extended an invite to his friend Shah Rukh Khan to come and promote his upcoming film, ‘Dilwale’ on Bigg Boss 9.
When asked by The Indian Express about the possibility of SRK appearing on Bigg Boss, Salman Khan said, “I would love him to come and he knows I mean it. If he has the time and wants to come on to the show, he is more than welcome to come and spend some time with the contestants”.
Former contestants Puneet Issar, Pritam Singh, Urvashi Dholakia, Praneet Bhatt, Rajeev Paul, Karishma Kotak, Ali Quli Mirza and Siddharth Bhardwaj gathered to set the pace of the forthcoming season by looking back at their journeys in the show.
While, Salman Khan without spilling any beans about the high points of Bigg Boss 9 said, “It is better to let a surprise remain a surprise... it will be revealed slowly”.
Previously, Salman Khan refused to host Bigg Boss latest installment due to back to back controversies in the show. He said, “After three months it all gets really exhausting but I have a long association with the show and a huge connect with all the contestants inside. When Mr Bachchan was the host, he didn't react to whatever happened in the house. I on the other hand get affected by what is happening in the house. I get involved. Most of them are in touch with me even after Bigg Boss is over. So the reason I have said in the past that I don't want to do Bigg Boss anymore is because it all starts affecting me,” Indian media reported.
The show will go on-air from October 11, 2015.
