imageAamir Khan, who is known all over the country as one of Salman Khan’s closest friends in the film industry was conspicuous by his absence around the latter yesterday. Long list of the Bollywood stars were standing in support of Salman Khan after he declared guilty on the 12-year old case on Wednesday, but actor Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan refrained themselves to comment on the verdict.

While SRK tweeted from his handle on May 6 about son AbRam, did not comment on Salman's sentence. Aamir, who is quite close to Salman didn’t react too.

However, according to latest media reports, Aamir Khan has visited his close friend Salman Khan at his Bandra residence on Thursday morning, just a day after the actor was announced guilty of all eight charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case and was sentenced to five years of jail by a Mumbai Sessions Court. In a breather to actor, the Bombay High Court granted him interim bail till May 8.

Earlier, ahead of the verdict on May 5, Salman’s foe turned friend Shah Rukh Khan had also visited him at his residence. While, Salman Khan has been sentenced to five years in jail in the 2002 hit-and-run case, Bollywood is deeply saddened with this news. Salman was teary eyed when announced guilty by the judge, Bollywood celebrities send their tweets to Salman Khan to show its solidarity with the superstar.
