Bollywood actress Dia Mirza has associated herself with an NGO to lend her voice for women empowerment. She always encourages woman empowerment and has come on-board in a unique way to support this thought.
This time Dia has associated herself with an NGO based in Delhi that works towards the betterment of underprivileged and giving them an opportunity to work in creative sectors. In the year 2015, given the current scenario, the NGO's efforts are skewed towards the efforts for gender equality and woman empowerment, Indian media reported.
The Delhi based NGO has planned a unique exhibition where writing works of women and girls across the world will be showcased to reflect how similar they are, regardless of where they hail from.
Mirza’s campaign video ‘Still I Rise’ features various personalities like Shabana Azmi, Lushin Dubey, Vidhusi Mehra, Aditi Roa Hydri, Konkana Sen Sharma and Ridhima Kapoor.
