Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya are coming back together for a film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ which will again present the ‘Dabangg’ actor as a lover boy. Previously they both worked together in movies like ‘Hum Apke Hain Kaun’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.
Salman Khan has refused to take any fee for ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and the deed is apparently to help the makers of the film to earn some profit at the Box Office.
Salman Khan has a 500 crore agreement with Star India by which the channel holds the rights to exclusively screen all Salman films. As a result, Sooraj Barjatya and the producers of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had to offer the satellite rights of the film to Star India at a minimal price. Thus, Salman Khan decides to waive off his fee as compensation to the low profit from the sale of satellite rights, Indian media reported.
Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya were reuniting after a gap of 15 years and so he did not want to create any hurdle for the makers of the film.
The movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is an upcoming Indian film, directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya. It stars Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles, with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Swara Bhaskar in supporting role.
