Hollywood diva Angelina Jolie made her first public appearance in ‘Kids’ Choice Awards’ ever since she revealed she’d had surgery to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed as a preventative measure against cancer.
The actress surprised audience with her presence at ‘Kids Choice Awards’ with her daughters Shiloh and Zahara. She also made a short but inspiring speech while receiving an award for ‘Best Villain’ in ‘Maleficent’.
She said, “I want to say when I was little, like Maleficent, I was told that I was different and I felt out of place, and too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. And then one day I realized something, something I hope you all realize. Different is good,” foreign media reported.
She urged youngsters crowd to be positive and confident about themselves and feel good about ‘being different’.
Jolie is an actor, filmmaker and special envoy of the U.N.’s High Commissioner for Refugees. Her personal life also has made front page headlines over the years, including her adoption of children, her marriage with actor Brad Pitt and her health issues.
