‘Piku’ posters are out starring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan in the prominent roles. The film is all about a father-daughter relationship which is played by Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone respectively.
While in one poster, Amitabh Bachchan is standing on a chair that has a very peculiar hole with Irrfan Khan trying to balance him or bring him down and in the other poster Bachchan is seen sitting on his luggage on a road and Irrfan holding a car above his head with a chair placed on top of that. And then there is Deepika Padukone whose expressions in both the posters seem like a reaction to what Amitabh and Irrfan are doing.
According to Indian media reports, director Shoojit Sircar revealed all about Deepika's character in the movie. He said, “‘Piku’ is an architect, who like any other independent girl, works on her own terms, runs her own small business, is undecided on what will happen in life and has an old father to look after in a cosmopolitan city. In the film, I have tried to put the audience in between their everyday life. I want them to start living with them and dealing with their problems”.
The film is all set to hit the theatres on May 8, 2015.
