Actor Ranveer Singh has credited megastar Amitabh Bachchan for bringing out the performer in him and making him realize his love for cinema.
According to Indian media reports ‘Ramleela’ actor said, “Mr Bachchan has been a source of inspiration throughout his life. Amitabh Bachchan has had a great influence on the Indian pop culture and on me. He is an icon, a living legend in the truest sense. My earliest and fondest memories of engaging with Hindi cinema are all directly related to Amitabh Bachchan”.
“The 72-year-old actor has touched not only his life but also the lives of many people around him in some way or the other. In the coming years, I believe Bollywood will be defined as BB and AB - 'Before Bachchan' and 'After Bachchan”, Ranveer added.
Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’ with Sanjay Leela Bhansali also stars Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. Ranveer Singh has worked in over 8 movies, from ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ to ‘Kill Dil’. He won almost all the ‘Best Debut’ awards in 2010-2011, as of now he has won over 17 awards. Two films, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ are still in the pipeline and will release in this year.
