Australian film star Nicole Kidman has enjoyed exploring a challenging role in upcoming film ‘Strangerland’.
According to foreign media reports, ‘Strangerland’ is a mystery drama about a couple whose lives unravel after their two teenage children go missing in the harsh Australian desert. Kidman said, “It was a chance to explore grief and sexuality, which was really compelling. I’m at a stage in my career and my life where I just want to keep moving into places that I haven’t been”. The film is written by Fiona Seres and Michael Kinirons and is produced by Naomi Wenck and Macdara Kelleher.
Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has described 2014 as her toughest year ever, saying the sudden death of her father in Singapore had left her family devastated. Reportedly, she said she enjoyed tackling a challenging new role in ‘Strangerland’.
Kidman won numerous critics' awards, including her first BAFTA, Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Actress.
