imagePopular comic character Mr Bean played by Rowan Atkinson is coming back on small screens after a long gap of three years.

The English actor, 60, will bring back his popular slapstick character on Friday 13 March as part of BBC1’s Red Nose Day celebrations, a BBC spokesperson confirmed. The appearance will mark his 25th anniversary in the role, foreign media reported.

Atkinson last outing as Mr Bean was at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012, he wooed global audience of 900 million at the mega event of sports.

The funnyman, who revealed this weekend that he is selling his £8million F1 Maclaren supercar, will revive the slapstick character once again in order to support the charity, Mirror reported.
