Actor Bradley Cooper says war drama ‘American Sniper’ was a life-changing experience for him. The film ‘American Sniper’ is about Navy Seal sharpshooter Chris Kyle. It’s not about the Iraq conflict but an intimate character study of the harrowing impact of war on a soldier and his family.
According to foreign media reports Cooper said in an interview, “It was a life-changing experience, truthfully. Personally, you set goals for yourself always but this was a pretty tall order. I was nervous, I didn't know if I was going to be able to do it. There were a lot of sleepless nights early on where I was really overwhelmed with the responsibility. Coming out the other side of that was a huge accomplishment and it always makes you stronger, whether you fail or succeed, you gain different things from that”.
Cooper has been nominated for an upcoming Academy awards in a ‘Best Actor’ for his portrayal of lethal Navy Seal sniper Chris Kyle.
The film has been directed by Clint Eastwood and scripted by Paranoia's Jason Hall. ‘American Sniper’ also stars Luke Grimes, Kyle Gallner, Jake McDorman as well as Sam Jaeger and Cory Hardrict in supporting roles.
