‘Exodus: God and Kings’ a new trailer has finally been released that showcases exactly what is to be expected from Christian Bale’s new epic.
Christian Bale, to portray the character of Moses in Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings. As a part of his research, Bale read the Bible and other holy books, including parts of the ‘Torah’ and ‘The Quran’. He also watched several films, which had a different approach to history as compared to this epic.
Christian Bale feels that his extensive research changed his perception about Moses, “I read Moses: A Life by Jonathan Kirsch amongst others. To get a humorous perspective before tackling this film, I also watched the comedies ‘History of The World Part I by Mel Brooks and Life of Brian’”, media reported.
According to media reports, the story of one man’s daring courage to take on the might of an empire. Scott brings new life to the story of the defiant leader Moses (Christian Bale) as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses (Joel Edgerton), setting 600,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.
The movie features Christian Bale, Joel Edgerton, John Turturro, Aaron Paul, Ben Mendelsohn, Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley. ‘Exodus: Gods And Kings’ will open in theaters on December 12.
