Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman will be starring in a limited series based on Liane Moriarty's book ‘Big Little Lies’.
According to media reports, the project which is to be penned by David E. Kelley, still has to be picked by a network, and would be produced by Moriarty with both Kidman and Witherspoon as executive producers via their Blossom Films and Pacific Standard respectively alongside Kelley.
The project would mark the biggest TV roles to date for both the Oscar winning actresses. Both Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are planning to cast as well in this production. Since the novel revolves around three main characters and a murder.
As source revealed that, two other works by Liane Moriarty are under the process of transformation from page to screen. ‘What Alice Forgot’ has been optioned by Daniel Frankel and ‘The Husband's Secrets’ has been picked by CBS Films.
The story in the novel is superb and seems to be getting good backing in the form of these prestigious production houses.
