Tennis star Sania Mirza stated her desire for superstar Salman Khan to play her husband Shoaib Malik in her biopic and also wants Deepika Padukone to play her role in the movie, if the biopic is ever made.
According to media reports Mirza said, “I would like Salman to play Shoaib’s half in my biopic film. He’s a decent friend of mine and my favorite actor too. Additionally I actually have never seen Deepika Padukone and Salman sharing screen space, so yes, it would be a treat to observe them ”.
Sania Mirza had previously rejected the idea of a biopic based on her life. Mirza is very carefull about her personal life and doesn’t want to share it with the whole world, which is the reason she has rejected many directors who have approached her regarding the topic.
Sania Mirza tied the knot with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010. Mirza is currently busy writing her autobiography titled ‘Against All Odds’.
