imageChristopher Nolan's latest flick ‘Interstellar’ has earned more than $300 million at the worldwide box office after its first two weekends.

According to media reports, film's ‘Interstellar’ overall collection is said to be $321.9 million that also includes a foreign take of $224.1 million. ‘Interstellar’ has now hit most major markets in the world, earning $15.8 million in Korea, $6 million in the United Kingdom and $5.3 million in Russia.

The film's showing in China officially made it the strongest opening ever in the country for director Christopher Nolan, as well as becoming Warner Bros. second overall best debut since its 2013 science fiction monster film ‘Pacific Rims’. Warner Bros. and Paramount are partners on the $165 million space epic; Warner is handling the movie overseas while Paramount has domestic duties.

Starring Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway as astronauts trying to save human race, with an ensemble cast that also includes Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine, the film is set to debut in Japan next week, which will add more to its overall collection. ‘Interstellar’ is one of the big budget Hollywood movies of 2014. The space epic film has been produced by Emma Thomas, Nolan and Lynda Obst.
