Actor Ajay Devgan’s next directorial venture ‘Shivaay’, with collaboration of ‘Eros International Media Ltd’ (Eros), a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry.
Eros will co-produce with Ajay Devgan his most ambitious project yet ‘Shivaay’, along with directing the film, Ajay Devgan will play the lead with debutante actress Sayesha, grand niece of legendary Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, media reported.
According to media reports Sunil Lulla, Managing Director, ‘Eros International Media Ltd’ said, “We are happy to extend our fabulous relationship with Ajay to ‘Shivaay’. With him at the helm, his fans and audiences can be assured of some fantastic action packed drama high on entertainment”.
‘Singham’ star had earlier directed a romantic drama 'U Me aur Hum' in which Kajol played the role of a woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The movie was received fairly well by the critics and the audiences. Reportedly, “I am delighted that Eros will co-produce ‘Shivaay’, having closely worked with them on several successful projects. I am looking forward to associating with them once again with a great marketing and distribution platform to back it,” Devgan added.
The film is expected to go on floors in January 2015.
