‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ will have maximum numbers of VFX shots than any other Marvel series. It has been considered as the most ambitious movie so far.
According to foreign media reports, the studio’s executive vice president Victoria Alonso said audience should expect a lot more visual effects by a huge margin in this movie than in other Marvel films. Discussing the film at Visual Effects Society Production Summit on Saturday, Alonso said the studio had to work with seven to twelve VFX vendors in five to seven different countries in order to get the movie done. But working with multiple countries works in the studio’s favor because they “sometimes have ideas that we don’t have. That’s what we gain by being global”.
First Avengers movie made a record breaking profit of more than $1 billion, now the makers are planning to replicate the success of the movie with ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. The creative team is planning to make the movie standout from any other fictional movie.
Reportedly, the upcoming Avenger series will have more than 3000 VFX shots that total would put it ahead of ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ which had around 2,500 VFX shots.
