Pooja Bhatt, the gorgeous actress who ruled many hearts in early 90s with her performance in films like ‘Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin’, ‘Phir Teri Yaad Aayi’, ‘Zakhm’ and many others, which were some of her best films till date. Now, she is all set to make a comeback to the silver screens after 13 long years.
Pooja Bhatt will be seen playing the role of a detective in Reema Kagti’s next ‘Mr. Chaalu’. Producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are the ones for bringing Bhatt on big screen once again, media reported.
The producers of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar were in talks with Tabu for the role. However, sources say that they later changed their mind and zeroed in on Pooja, thinking that she would better suit the role of their ‘Lady Holmes’.
According to media reports, Mr. Chaalu also has Saif Ali Khan playing the role of a suave Casanova who likes to win over women with his charm, while Kangna Ranaut will be the female lead, playing Saif’s love interest. Richa Chadda too will be seen in the film as one of Saif’s girlfriends.
Pooja Bhatt hasn’t faced the camera for quite a long time. After that, she only concentrated on producing and directing movies. Reportedly, Pooja Bhatt will appear in her comeback film just before the interval and will entertain till the end.
