Toronto born actor and writer Vinay Virmani is excited about his latest film, ‘Dr. Cabbie’, released in Canada. Dr. Cabbie is a Canadian film that stars Kunal Nayyar, Vinay Virmani, Isabel Kaif and Adrianne Palicki. It is directed by Jean-Francois Pouliot and co-produced by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
The film features Vinay Virmani as a young Indian doctor who immigrates to Canada with the selfless ambition of healing others. While beginning a new life in the land of opportunity. Circumstances force him to turn into a cab driver, who becomes a local hero when he converts his taxi into a mobile clinic. Just the kind of film Salman Khan's ‘Being Human’ would like to be associated with, media reported.
Sources also reveal that, ‘Dr. Cabbie’ is none lesser to that true life incident. Vinay Virmani got this idea to make this film after a late-night cab ride in downtown Toronto from an Indian doctor who naively thought would make a living but ended up driving taxi.
