imageFawad Khan’s ‘Khoobsurat’ beats Aditya Roy Kapoor’s ‘Dawat-e-Ishq’ in advance bookings in Pakistan which has hit theatres on the same day.

According to figures issued by ‘Atrium Cinemas’ the difference in advance bookings is tremendous. In comparison to Daawat-e-Ishq’s 442 seats, reserved in advance for the weekend, the Sonam Kapoor-Fawad Khan romantic comedy managed to reserve around 1,737 seats, media reported.

The highly anticipated movie starring Pakistan’s heartthrob Fawad Khan and beautiful Sonam Kapoor has outnumbered Aditya Roy Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starring movie for the next three days. The reason might be huge fan following of Fawad Khan in Pakistan.

‘Khoobsurat’ had a very strong opening yesterday in Pakistan and it’s expected to set another benchmark for any bollywood movie.

According to local media reports Nadeem Mandviwalla, owner of Nishat Cinema and Mandviwalla Entertainment said, “In my opinion, the film has exceeded everyone’s expectations as no one was expecting the film to do so well, given that it was being released against a film produced by India’s largest production house, Yash Raj Films”.

“A major reason for the success of ‘Khoobsurat’ in Pakistan is Fawad Khan. It happens with Ali Zafar’s movies as well as they tend to perform well in Pakistan regardless of how they fare in India or abroad. Similarly, Fawad seems to have taken the audience demand factor that Ali Zafar previously had,” he added.
