Popular Indian comedy show ‘Comedy nights with Kapil’ recently completed its 100 episode. Now, the makers are planning for some inevitable change, according to which the show will go on-air only once a week.
Most admired stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma who has been hosting this show from past one year has been dropped from a three-movie contract with Yash Raj pictures which might become a reason to cut-off his show timings.
According to media reports, Sharma had to recently drop out from Yash Raj’s three-film deal due to his busy schedule and unavailability of dates. “I had many film offers and I could not do them because I felt that this show is my priority,” he said.
“If I keep the show bi-weekly, I will not be able to do films. I will try to do the show once-a-week so that I can manage my dates with film shoots,” he added.
This show has become one of a popular platform to promote the upcoming movies and interact with the audience live. Many celebrities and big names of bollywood have shown up in this show to promote their movie in a unique way.
