According to the Press Trust of India Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he can still play roles which require intense anger.
Bachchan, who has worked in over 180 films over a four-decade acting career, was catpulted to stardom from his 1970’s film ‘Zanzeer’. His spectacular performance in the film earned him the name of ‘angry young man’.
The 71-year-old actor claims he can still act with the same powerful emotions if a film script demands.
"That is not to say that it is lost. If there is anger to be depicted in a film, I can still do it. It depends on characterisation, what the director or the story demands from you."
Bachchan will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's horror comedy ‘Booth Returns’. The film is slated to release on April 11th, 2014 and will also feature Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor in cameo roles.
