According to American media reports Marvel’s ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ has surpassed the $300 million mark overseas in just ten days.
With raking in over $96 million on its first domestic weekend, the film, featuring Chris Evans in the title role, has beaten ‘Fast Five’s’ $86 million record to score top April opening of all time.
Its first instalment “Captain America: The First Avenger” took in about $65 million on its first weekend in July 2011.
“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and also stars Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Sebastian Stan and Frank Grillo.
