According to the Indian Express Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been finalized for Karan Johar’s most talked about film ‘Shuddhi’.

The two will be re-uniting for the second time after last sharing screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’.

Director Karan Malhotra and KJo have yet to discuss details about the role with Ranveer, who is currently in Delhi for the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Kill Dill’.

The film initially featured Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in the leads, but both of the actors opted out of the project due to personal reasons.

It is slated to release on 25th of December, 2015
