KARACHI: After introducing several beautiful entrants including Sonakshi Sinha, Somy Ali, Katrina Kaif and Zarine Khan to B-Town, Salman Khan will reportedly launch Sunil Shetty’s daughter, Athiya Sunil Shetty.
According to Indian Media sources, the up-coming star is making her debut with Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj in the official remake of Jackie Shroff’s 1983 chartbuster ‘Hero’. It is reported that the remake rights of the film have been sold to Salman Khan and the film will be released later this year.
Though reports are uncertain about the director of the film, it has been reported that Subhash Ghai was requested to score for the film. The Bollywood heartthrob is reportedly fond of Ghai’s musical hits including ‘Karma’, ‘Karz’ and ‘Khalnayak’ and if the deal works in favor, the film will leave no stone unturned in the filmmaker’s career.
After completing her studies from the New York Film Academy, Athiya Sunil Shetty is now geared up to enter the film industry. It was reported that Athiya was a strong candidate for Sajid Nadiawala’s ‘Heropanti’ starring opposite Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger.
Sooraj Pancholi, who has been training in martial arts and dance reportedly caught Salman Khan’s attention on the set of Kabir Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. He reportedly also assisted director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Guzaarish’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai.
