KARACHI: The third installment in the hugely popular Iron Man franchise by Disney has reportedly smashed the box office across US and Canadian theatres.
The superhero blockbuster will reportedly lead to one of the biggest debuts in film history. It has reportedly broken records for the biggest opening weekend ever across Hong Kong, Argentina, Singapore and Indonesia. According to the box office analysis, the film will earn a whopping $150 million just in its opening weekend.
Starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, the movie has reportedly pulled in $345.4 million in the overseas market. However, the opening night sales of Iron Man 3 fell short in comparison to Disney’s “Avengers” which brought Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Hawkeye together for the first time. However, the film has reportedly set opening day records in several other countries including Russia and China.
