Young British Royals Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton and Brother Prince Harry have joined social networking site Twitter and Instagram.
They’ll be posting under the handle @KensingtonRoyal, as the account’s first ever tweet announces, “Hello from Kensington Palace! Welcome to our new Twitter account.” More information swiftly follows in a second tweet, “This account represents The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, follow for updates on their work and the #RoyalFoundation,” foreign media reported.
On Twitter and Instagram, Kensington Palace has shared updates about the Coach Core charity, launched by William, Kate and Harry’s Royal Foundation to train young people to become sports coaches and mentors. They also shared the picture of Kate Middleton visiting school, and a video where she has been applauded for her presence.
This is not the first Twitter account from the Royal Family. Previously the British Monarchy account was set up in 2009 which keeps followers updated about the latest happenings and goings from the Buckingham Palace.
