‘Sherlock and the Imitation Game’ star Benedict Cumberbatch’s life-size wax statue unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London.
The ‘Sherlock’ star figure has been dressed for a premiere with a Spencer Hart suit, similar to the one he wore for his ‘photo bombing’ at the Oscars earlier this year.
According to media reports Cumberbatch expressed his excitement on his immortalized wax statue and said, “I’m excited to see the finished, perfect, waxy me, although slightly terrified. The work is so detailed it’s going to feel a little uncomfortable and surreal seeing what I really look like”.
Ben Sweet, general manager at Madame Tussauds London said, “We had so many visits to our website on the day we announced we were creating Benedict’s figure that our system nearly crashed. The demand to feature him here has simply been overwhelming and I am sure fans are going to approve of the likeness,” media reported.
The ‘Star Trek’ actor has been displayed alongside with Hollywood actors like Kate Winslet, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
