India’s leading dairy manufacturer ‘Amul’ slammed Pakistan People Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over his recent speech on the Kashmir issue.
The cartoon advertisement came out as a result of Bilawal Bhutto’s recent speech addressing to the National Youth Parliament last Sunday.
According to local media reports, the ad shows a figure which likely represents Bilawal holding a microphone while sitting on the front seat of a green car with a guard standing beside him. The figure is pointing towards the Amul girl, who in turn seems to be wanting him to go away. The illustration reads ‘Bilawal Phutto’ (Bilawal go away), playing on and mocking the Bhutto family name. The illustration ad also made it to the Amul hits of 2014 on the brand’s website.
Addressing the National Youth Parliament’s session last Sunday, Bilawal had criticised the UN saying much of the hostility in the subcontinent was due to the unresolved Kashmir issue. He had gone on to say that Kashmir was ‘an example of the failure of the United Nations’. Bilawal Bhutto also claimed that if the PPP government came back in power, the party would wrest all of Kashmir from India, media reported.
Bilawal Bhutto also raised such critical issues recently on October 18 public speech, which has raised many eyebrows among Pakistani politicians.
