Pakistan’s famous drama series ‘Humsafar’ will make its debut in India today, the cast and crew of the popular drama series is very excited and eagerly waiting to know about its reviews across the border.
Mahira Khan makes her TV debut with ‘Humsafar’ and has been praised a lot for her incredible performance opposite to Pakistan’s heartthrob Fawad Khan.
Talking to Indian media she said, “This was my first show and it has been life altering for me. I am looking forward to its launch in India. ‘Humsafar’ is addictive, it’s a good ‘nasha’ to have. I remember when the show was on-air in Pakistan my friends would keep asking me what’s going to happen next. And those who didn’t see it when it was aired the first time, watched all episodes back-to-back because they found it very gripping”.
Fawad Khan is returning to Indian TV screens yet again after his widely popular drama serial ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’.
‘Humsafar’ was aired in 2011 on Pakistani TV channel ‘Hum’. Directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat and based on a novel by Farhat Ishtiaq, it’s the story of Asher and Khirad who are forced into an arranged marriage by unfortunate circumstances, but eventually fall in love with each other. The story revolves around their trials and tribulations, and how they overcome the problems.
