imageNew Delhi: The second edition of Aalishan Pakistan Exhibition, organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) in Delhi, India, has left the visitors in awe through their unique display.

The four day exhibition held at Pragati Maidan showcased items ranging from Pakistani garments to textiles included top designers like Sanam Chaudhri, Wardha Saleem, Deepak Perwani, Mehreen Noorani, Adnan Pardesy, Huma Adnan and Ahsan Nazir that participated from the platform of Fashion Pakistan and displayed their work at the exhibition.

While commenting on her experience at the event, Wardha Saleem, CEO Fashion Pakistan said, “The efforts of each Pakistani exhibiting here (Delhi) have undoubtedly set a benchmark for all the similar Lifestyle Exhibitions yet to come. Fashion Pakistan will always be more than willing to partake in future endeavours such as Aalishan Pakistan.”

Before the actual exhibition, a Pakistan specific arts & fashion show was held at a local hotel that made a significant impression on the Indian fashion lovers and industry alike. The fashion show got huge appreciation from the attendees that showcased exclusive designs by Wardha Saleem, CEO Fashion Pakistan, Deepak Perwani, Spokesperson Fashion Pakistan and Huma Adnan FnkAsia.

Renowned designer and spokesperson of Fashion Pakistan Deepak Perwani expressed his gratitude towards the organizers: “By taking this step, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has once again proven exactly how essential trade diplomacy is and I am beyond glad to be a part of this venture”.

The first Pakistan lifestyle exhibition in India held in 2012 was comparatively a low scale affair, whereas the second edition turned out to be a much bigger event with participation of over 150 exhibitors and 320 stalls.
