17-years old Malala Yousufzai who survived Taliban attack two years back and became an ‘International youth icon’ launched another version of her famous book ‘I am Malala’.
It was assumed that the original version of book was quite difficult for young readers to understand so Malala has launched a children edition of her famous book.
According to foreign media reports education activist said in an interview, “The first thing is that we already had this book the adult edition, ‘I Am Malala.’ It might be difficult for young readers to understand it, so we thought that there should be a children’s edition as well. The story’s the same. It’s about me. And I want to go to school, so I hope that the children will learn how important education is for them and for their country and how they should focus on it.”
Malala’s book ‘I am Malala’ was co-authored by her and a British journalist Christina Lamb, was published in October 2013 and it recounts Malala’s tale of being shot at by Taliban, her life in Swat valley under Taliban rule and her new life in Britain, where she now lives and studies, media reported.
