Recently, Apple CEO Tim Cook visited India and expressed his desire to meet Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The meeting was a grand affair with who’s who of Bollywood. Though, the meeting was informal but some media outlets have been reporting that Tim Cook had some business interest in mind when he visited the ‘King of Bollywood’ in India.
A report by PC Tablet is claiming that Apple might rope in Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan to be the brand ambassador for Apple in India. To make things official Apple could make this announcement right when it launches the new iPhones in India, which would be approximately a month after the official US announcement.
However, another report on AppleInsider reveals that the company ‘does not need a brand ambassador in India or anywhere else’.
During the five-day-long trip to India, Apple CEO also met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence. Cook launched an updated version of the ‘Narendra Modi mobile app’ during his meeting with the Indian PM.
