Sahabzade Irrfan Ali Khan credited as Irrfan Khan or simply Irrfan to the whole world. The multitalented star has devastated all the stereotypes and risen to the fame.
Irrfan has removed ‘Khan’ from his name and when he was asked on M bole Toh with RJ Mallishka, as to who would he gift his surname.
He replied, “To no one. I will suggest everyone to remove their surnames. I just started realizing certain things in my life. As to how we are conditioned in a certain way with our background, with our genetic things, with our parents, with our teachings, with our schools. You know how they have formed me and where is me really, I don’t know. So I was wondering about all these things and there was comparison that I am nowhere in life and suddenly a film of mine is releasing. And someone remarked, ‘Oh! So you are another Khan’ And I used to feel strange about it. That time I wanted to wash everything off my path. Not relationships but conditionings. Instinctively, I removed the Khan from my name”, Pinkvilla reported.
