According to the Press Trust of India Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has penned a letter to the Election Commission stating he is not representing any political party.
The letter was sent in the wake of a poster, that has been making the rounds over social media sites, showing him endorsing Aam Aadmi Party(AAP).
The actor has encouraged people to go out and vote in the elections, but has clarified he won’t represent any political party in particular.
Press Trust of India quoted Khan’s spokesperson as saying, “Aamir Khan from day one has made it clear that he will not be endorsing a particular political party. He is not supporting or campaigning for any political party,”
However, the party has clarified their officials were involved in the act.
